After their success with Sam Moon Trading Co., Sam Moon Group expanded their business into commercial real estate development. SMG wanted to create shopping centers with a wide array of tenants that would bring more options to the communities and their visitors. The first Sam Moon Centers opened their doors in 2003 in Dallas and Frisco, followed by The Woodlands in 2006, and Fort Worth in 2009.
The Sam Moon Centers range in size from the 38,000 square-foot center in Frisco to the 168,000 square foot center in Fort Worth. Each location includes a Sam Moon Trading Co. retail store as well. These plazas have become incredibly popular due to their prime locations and tenants including Urban Air, Five Guys, Firehouse Subs, Ashley Furniture, Hand & Stone and Sola Salon.
